With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Helen Sherard, 71,.

What follows is not the whole story, but a thread of it.

Helen entered this world in 1941 — the start of a journey that would span 71 years.

Helen held deeply to the Lutheran faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

What Helen believed shaped how she loved.
