After a life of love and quiet grace, Hazel M. Grond, 97, has passed.

These are the contours of a life that meant a great deal to many.

Hazel entered this world in 1917 — the start of a journey that would span 97 years.

Hazel spent her working life as ['Monroe and then in Corsica'] and held deeply to the Methodist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

Those who live by belief leave a different kind of mark.
