After a life of love and quiet grace, Kim Baarson, 58, has passed.

Kim spent her working life as ['secretary in the Greenfield School District'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

Kimberlee Baarson, 58 of Marion died Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the Avera Doughtery Hospice House. Graveside services will be at 11:00am Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery, Marion. Arrangements by Hofmeister Jones Funeral Home. Kimberlee Baarson was born on November 13, 1961 at the Freeman Hospital in Freeman, SD to Dick and Deon (Lawrence) Lueders. She grew up in Marion where she attended Marion High School. On September 5, 1987 she was united in marriage to Alan Baarson at Marion. She lived in Sioux Falls, Indiana, Kansas City, and Colorado before she moved back to Marion where she has lived for the past 10 years. While in Indiana she worked as a secretary in the Greenfield School District. Grateful for having shared her life are her twin sons, Eric Richard Baarson of Hawaii and Michael Alan and his wife Debbie Baarson of Alaska; a grandson Jason; 3 siblings, Lana (Dennis) Herlyn, Parker, SD, Candyce (Jaloy) Gustafson, Poulsbo, WA and Donavon (Laurie) Lueders, Sioux Falls, SD; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
