Lisa Luke, 45, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Tieszen Memorial Home, Marion. Funeral mass will be at 10:30am Monday, March 11, 2013 at St. Christina Catholic Church, Parker with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm Sunday at the church with a Scripture Service/Rosary said at 7:00pm Sunday evening. Arrangements by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker. Lisa Marie Luke was born on April 20, 1967 at Viborg, SD to Donald and Berdell (Ihnen) Luke. She grew up at Parker where she graduated from Parker High School in 1985. She had been employed at the Parker School cafeteria, Parker Filter Plant for 15 years, and helped out at Parker Floral. She was a lifelong member of St. Christina Catholic Church and a member of the choir. She enjoyed attending Parker High School activities and do craft projects. On March 8, 2013 she lost her hard fought battle with cancer, an illness she gallantly fought with a strong and positive attitude. She was preceded in death by her Dad in 2008. Grateful for having shared her life are her mother Berdell Luke, Parker; a brother Jason and wife Connie Luke, Freeman; 3 nieces and nephews, Jason (Justice) Mehlhaff, Brian (Tracey) Mehlhaff, and Tiffany Mehlhaff; 2 great nieces, Darrica and Jayda; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
