Marjorie Kadinger, 85, of Sioux Falls, SD, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved her dearly.

Marjorie Kadinger, 85 of Sioux Falls, passed away on January 4, 2026 at Ava's House, Sioux Falls. Graveside Service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Family has requested no sympathy cards be sent. Arrangements provided by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home.Marjorie Ann (Gerdes) Kadinger was born on December 26, 1940 to Melvin and Edith (Davis) Gerdes. She joined older brother Robert and was later joined by brother Merlin. She graduated from Parker High School in 1959.Following school she began working at K-Mart in Sioux Falls. She worked there for over 30 years inthe customer service department. Marjorie loved helping customers over the years and made many friends working there.Marjorie will be missed. She is survived by her son Joseph Kadinger, Jr., Sioux Falls; brother Merlin "Mick" Gerdes of Parker; nephew Chad (Karen) Gerdes of Madison. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert.
