Dale Garry, 71 died on Thursday, September 5, 2019 in an automobile accident west of Baltic. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 10:30am in St. Ann Catholic Church, Humboldt. Burial with military rites by the Humboldt American Legion will be at the church cemetery. A Scripture service will be said at 7:30pm Monday evening at the church, with family present at church an hour before the scripture service. Dale Steven Garry was born on December 25, 1947 at Sioux Falls, SD to Melvin and Bertha (Bannworth) Garry. He grew up near Humboldt where he graduated in the last class from Humboldt High School in 1967. He proudly served his country in the US Army for 2 years and returned to the Humboldt area. He was employed with Gage Brothers Concrete Products for years and also drove milk truck. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and the Humboldt American Legion. Grateful for having shared his life are 7 brothers and sisters, Joe (Maureen), Hurley, Kay (Richard) Ideker, Sioux Falls, Jack (Sandy), Humboldt, Stan (Mary), Colton, Linda (Jim) Kasten, Parker, Randy (Sidney), Dolton, and Mary Garry, Parker; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Roger.
