Ron Cink, 57, has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

Some stories deserve to be told slowly. This is one of them.

Born in 1964, Ron began a life that would touch many along the way.

Ron held deeply to the Catholic faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

Faith is a quiet companion through a long life. Ron's walked beside him.

Ron Cink, 57, died suddenly of a heart attack on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Sioux Falls, with a burial at St. Christina Catholic Cemetery in Parker. Visitation will be 5-7 pm on Monday evening at Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls with a Scripture Service and Rosary to be said at 7:00 pm. Ronald James Cink was born on January 9, 1964 in Rochester, MN to James and Kathryn (Bollinger) Cink. He grew up in Beresford where he graduated from Beresford High School in 1982. After receiving a degree from Minnesota West Technical College in Pipestone, MN, he lived and worked in Sioux Falls before moving to Idaho for 4 years, then ultimately returning home to Sioux Falls. For a number of years, he was employed with Walgreens, and at the time of his death, was employed with Dick's Sporting Goods. Ron was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where he frequently served as an usher. He was also an avid golfer and bowler. Ron was a very caring, giving, and selfless person. He was a dedicated son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. Ron was always willing to help anyone.
