With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Ronald Jorgensen, 59,.

The chapters of his life were many; these are some of them.

The story begins in 1964, with the arrival of a life that would be cherished by many.

Ronald held deeply to the Lutheran faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

A life of belief is a life of quiet conversation with something larger.

Ronald Tim Jorgensen, 59 formerly of Parker and of Golden, CO, died October 16, 2024 under hospice care. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Parker with burial at the Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Memorials maybe made to the charity of the donors choice. Ronald Tim Jorgensen was born on October 30, 1964 at Freeman, SD to Robert P and Joyce J (Wipf) Jorgensen. He was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church in Hurley and graduated from Parker High School in 1983. After school he studied electronics and later moved to Denver where he worked with his brother, Bob, working on the Republic Plaza which is still the tallest building in Denver. He moved back to South Dakota and lived and worked in Sioux Falls before moving to Hurley where he lived until suffering a stroke in 2016. In 2018 he moved to Golden, CO where he lived with his sister, Roxann, until his death. Ronnie could always be found at auction sales where he would buy goods that he would resell on E-Bay. He had an extensive collection of stones and semi-precious stones from around the world. He enjoyed gardening, canning and drying his produce. He had an affinity for math and electronics and accumulated an extensive library. Ronnie remained positive and was a joker until the end, always listening to Christian radio and all genres of music. He was the saving grace to his siblings when he visited his mother every day after she moved to the nursing home. Grateful for having shared his life are his sister Rhonda (Terry) Jensen, South Carolina, Robert (Julie) Jorgensen, Littleton, CO and Roxann (Mike Cerra) Snell, Golden, CO; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
