What Robert loved
Faith

The family of Robert A. Olsen, 58, announces his passing, and invites all who knew him to remember him here.

Some lives speak quietly; his is one such story.

Robert's story began in 1959, and unfolded across the years that followed.

Robert held deeply to the Lutheran faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

A life of faith is rarely a life of certainty — but always one of trust.

Robert Arnold Olsen, 58 of Centerville, SD, passed away unexpectedly at the Avera Heart Hospital on Friday, March 3, 2017. Robert was born on January 2, 1959 at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD to Melvin and Violette Lien Olsen. He lived his entire life in Centerville South Dakota. Grateful for having shared his life are his sister, Miriam Olsen of Arlington, NE and numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nephews and Nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Olsen, his mother, Violette Lien, his Grandparents Martin and Mable Olson, and Grandparents Ole and Grace Lien and many other family members.
