Keith Christopherson, 89, has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

Born in 1928, Keith began a life that would touch many along the way.

A long life leaves a long shadow of memory.

Keith Christopherson, 89 died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Pioneer Memorial Nursing Home, Viborg. Graveside services will be at 10:00am Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Carlson Cemetery, rural Viborg with full military honors. Keith Helmer Christopherson was born on February 8, 1928 in Yankton County, SD to Marvin and Esther (Vedin) Christopherson. He attended country school before serving in the US Army during WW II. On January 5, 1952 he was united in marriage to Gwendolyn Copple at Hastings, NE. For many years he farmed in the Viborg area. His wife died in 2016. Grateful for having shared his life are 2 children, Mike (Mary) Christopherson, Viborg and Carmen (Bill) Province, Lansing, MI; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 brothers Donald and Clifford, and a sister Joyce.
