After a life of love and quiet grace, Patrick Dangel, 75, has passed.
What follows is not the whole story, but a thread of it.
Patrick entered this world in 1948 — the start of a journey that would span 76 years.
Patrick spent his working life as ['various jobs and took pride in his work'] and held deeply to the Catholic faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.
Those who live by belief leave a different kind of mark.

Pat worked at various jobs and took pride in his work. He spent the last 30 years as a dedicated employee of the Rechnagel Construction Co. of Hurley, SD. Like his father, Pat enjoyed gardening. He also enjoyed a game of competitive cribbage. He is survived by his children, Lisa Marie Sorum, Michael Sorum, and Seth Langrock Dangel. Grateful for having shared his life are his brothers and sisters, Carol (Robert) Johnson, Wilmot, SD, Dave Dangel, Sioux Falls, Patricia (Larry) Klumb, Ethan, SD, Diane (Bill) Kummer, Ethan, SD, and Robert (Roxann) Dangel, Freeman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
