Sherry Howard, 51 of Viborg, passed away on April 1, 2024 at her home in Viborg. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Set Free Baptist Church, Beresford. Arrangements provided by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home. Sherry Lynn Howard, born on September 5, 1972, passed away peacefully at home on April 1, 2024 joining her son Justin Camarena, Brother Jeff Camarena, grandparents Mildred and Richard Yeo, and many others in the loving house of God. Sherry was a mother of four children and many others that she considered her own. Her relentless understanding and compassion for all of her kids was unmeasurable, as she was a guiding light for every single one. Sherry was a devoted wife to her equally devoted husband of 25 years. Ralph and Sherry Howard had an undying love for each other as well as the Lord. They spent their lives together following Christ in every way possible. They had a heart for helping others, which would include her mother and father Linda and Gabe Camarena who they passionately cared for the last several years. Sherry is preceded in death by her son Justin Camarena, her brother Jeff Camarena, Grandparents Mildred and Richard Yeo, her cousin Guy Hanson, and her sweet dog Hercules. Sherry is survived by her husband Ralph Howard, her parents Linda and Gabe Camarena, her brother Paul Camarena and his wife Geri, Tony Camarena, and Mark Camarena; sisters Janice Camarena, Susan Hanson and her husband Bill; her son Gabriel Camarena, her daughter and son Brittany and Alex Dominguez, her daughter Georgette Dominguez, her son and daughter Kenny and Emma Camarena, her daughter/niece Jessica Silvas, her son Michael, her daughter Becky, and her grandkids: Jonny, Lizzy, Mimi, and AK, as well as many more Familia. Sherry left her temporary home leaving behind a legacy of love, understanding, and compassion. Though she is gone, our purple haired angel will never be forgotten, and her passion for family, friends, and strangers will forever course through our veins. She touched and guided many hearts around her including her sisters, brothers, children, nieces, nephews, and grandkids.
