After a life of love and quiet grace, Timothy Johnson, 49, has passed.

Timothy entered this world in 1970 — the start of a journey that would span 49 years.
Timothy's years were fewer than we hoped, but no less full.
Tim Johnson, 49 of Hurley, passed away on July 18, 2019. Memorial visitation will begin at 6:00 PM Monday, July 22, 2019 at Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home in Parker with a service beginning at 8:00 PM. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Timothy Johnson was born on June 22, 1970, in Viborg, SD to Marshall and Ruth Johnson. Tim resided in Lennox until the family moved to Hurley in 1971. He attended school in Hurley and graduated in 1989. Tim was joined in marriage to Jennifer Willems in April of 2004. They resided in Garretson and then later moved to Harrisburg. Tim worked with his father for Johnson Digging and Excavating business. When his dad retired, he continued to work in the excavating business until 2015 when he suffered a debilitating stroke. Tim enjoyed camping and boating and was a self-proclaimed bean bag champ. He was a huge Broncos fan and loved spending time with his family and friends. Tim passed away on July 18, 2019, at his parents' home in Hurley. Tim is preceded in death by his father Marshall Johnson on October 23, 2017. He has left behind his loving family; mother, Ruth Johnson, three beloved children; Cody Bonte, Kailyn Bonte, and Halee Johnson. Tim will be greatly missed by his three siblings; Marsha (Jay) Morrison of Sioux Falls, SD, Greg (Amy) Johnson of Hurley, SD, and Nikole (Micah) Veldman of Parker, SD. Tim also leaves behind nieces and nephews; Cody Morrison, Austin and Hunter Johnson, Jarret, Ashlynn, Jazlene, and Addison Wildeboer. Also, many other family and friends.
