Ronald Dean Bress, 76, died July 24, 2017 at his home in Colorado Springs, CO. Ronald Dean Bress was born on March 19, 1941 in Iowa and grew up near Parker, SD where he graduated from Parker High School in 1959. He lived in Minnesota, California, and relocated to Colorado Springs, CO. He served 6 years in the Air National Guard Reserves and retired from Albertson's Non-Foods Warehouse after 25 years as a Warehouseman in California. During that time he also served as president of the Alicante Park Homeowners Association. Ron loved being with his family and playing golf, especially year round golf in California. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Diana; a daughter Heather (George Grace) Gilbert; brothers Ed (Jenenne) Fincher, Darrel (Anastasia) Fincher, and Dennis (Sol) Bress; sisters DiAnne (Richard) Krause and Shirley (Walt) West. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Bress, Frank and Nell Fincher, brother Wayne Fincher, and sister Sandra McKenney. Services were held in Colorado. Memorials maybe directed to the ALS Association.
